unanswerable

These questions are designed to deceive another person’s mind.

Nobody truly knows the answers to the questions; instead, individuals attempt to answer them, which is exactly what I will be doing here.

Only the truly clever, or those who believe they are clever, are capable of answering these questions.

Here’s a selection of questions that will leave you scratching your head:

#1. What color is a mirror?

Is a mirror considered a color? It should be! That is, at least, my attempt to respond to this question.

But, as I already stated, clever individuals do occasionally respond to them. And that’s all there is to it in this situation; find out what a mirror’s true hue is here!

#2. Is your time truly wasted if you like wasting it?

Is there anyone who enjoys wasting time?

While they may like doing nothing, it is not always a waste of time.

But, to answer my own question, the answer is no.

#3. Is it possible for something to be impossible if everything is possible?

It’s very likely improbable, but who knows?

#4. Is it a hostage situation if a person with several personalities threatens to kill himself?

Wow, I’m going to have to decline. It’s just an odd circumstance.

#5. Which have you done if you try to fail and succeed?

You’ve failed in life, but you’ve succeeded in failing, so bravo!

#6. Why is “abbreviated” such a long word?

Let’s face it, there are a lot of short words in our language. When there were just long words left to utilise, I presume they only needed to construct a term to explain it?!

#7. Why do raindrops fall but snowflakes fall?

Snow is heavier than rain, right? That actually sounds like a reasonable response!

#8. Why is the word dictionary in the dictionary?

You got me there! Probably for really, really stupid people.

Also, read this article to learn how a term becomes a part of the dictionary.

#9. Why isn’t there cat food with a mouse flavour?

Is it true that cats devour mice? Or do they regard them merely as a toy?

Yes, I responded to a question with a question.

#10. Why is rush hour named after the time of day when traffic is the slowest?

Because everyone wants to get home in time for supper or to avoid missing their favorite television show. In fact, however, it never occurs.
