Electronic Arts (EA) announced in April that a mobile version of their first-person shooter (FPS) game, Battlefield, would be released soon. More information regarding the upcoming Battlefield Mobile game has now been released by EA DICE. Here, we’ll go through everything we know about the upcoming game, including beta rollout progress by area, map specifications, and more.
Everything we know about Battlefield Mobile
In a Q&A session, EA DICE reportedly stated that the Battlefield Mobile game will be released first in Indonesia and the Philippines. The game will first be distributed on the Android platform, according to a Google Play Store listing. The business plans to release beta versions of the game in different parts of the world.
The Grand Bazaar map from Battlefield 3 will be the sole map included in the game at first. The game will be available for free to play, with in-app purchases such as cosmetic goods, unlocked improvements, and a Battle Pass system available.
The mobile edition of the game, according to EA, would feature “the same wild scenarios and explosive spectacles that Battlefield is known for.” The graphics, on the other hand, may appear to be a step down from the PC games.
There will be numerous game types in Battlefield Mobile, including a Tactical mode, a Destroy mode, a Stealth mode, and a War Tanks mode.
The Tactical mode emphasizes player agility, while the Destroy mode allows players to race around on ATVs, the Stealth mode emphasizes stealth, and the War Tanks mode brings in a fully armored tank for a fight. A class system will be included in the game to make the gameplay more engaging. Assault, Support, Medic, and Recon are some of the other classes available.
The game will also include features such as player customization and backstories for the game’s War Heroes.
In the next months, we expect EA DICE to divulge more details about the Battlefield Mobile game, leading up to the game’s complete release next year.
